RECOGNITION OF UNION DELEGATES. 34.1 An employee appointed union delegate in the section or Department in which the employee is employed will, upon notification of this to the employer, be recognised as the accredited representative of the union to which the employee belongs. An accredited union delegate is to be allowed reasonable time during working hours, at a mutually convenient time, to interview the employer or the employer's representative on matters affecting employees whom the accredited delegate represents. Delegates participating in enterprise bargaining negotiations will be paid in accordance with this Agreement.
