Recognized Days. The Department and the Association agree to recognize the following holidays for purposes of this contract: January 1 ( New Year's Day) November 11 (Veterans Day) 3rd Monday in January (Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day) 4th Thursday in November (Thanksgiving) 3rd Monday in February (Presidents Day) 4th Friday in November (Day after Thanksgiving) Last Monday in May (Memorial Day) December 24 (Christmas Eve Day) July 4 (Independence Day) December 25 (Christmas Day) First Monday in September (Labor Day) Two (2) Personal Holidays Last Friday in October (Nevada Day) Any additional day not listed above that may be appointed by the President of the United States as a legal holiday. Designations for federal employees will not be recognized.
