Reemployment of Retired Bargaining Unit Members. 1. Any bargaining unit member or any teacher who retires under STRS and subsequently is reemployed by the District must be placed at Step 6 of the salary schedule to include his/her academic training level, and will be eligible for subsequent experience steps and academic training steps. Healthcare, dental, vision care, life insurance and income disability insurance will be provided by the Board in the same manner as for any other teacher.
