EMPLOYEE RIGHTS 4.1 The District and the Association recognize the right of employees to form, join, and participate in lawful activities of employee organizations and the equal alternative right of employees to refuse to form, join, and participate in employee organization activities.
Re-employment Rights (1) Re-employment of Faculty Members on layoff status will be administered by the College in accordance with the then-applicable provisions of the Education Code.
Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked. The entitlement will be calculated on the annual leave anniversary date. Qualifying shifts are defined as a shift which involves at least 2 hours work performed outside the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm, excluding overtime. Certifying Employees In each Annual Report, Xxxxxxx shall include the certifications of Certifying Employees required by Section III.A.4;
Active Employees Active Employees who have not terminated service during the Plan Year and who meet the following requirements (select all that apply; leave blank if no exclusions):
On-Call Employees The Employer may assign work to on-call employees prior to assigning overtime.
All Employees The Company shall not include the shift differential in any employee’s wage rate for the calculation of overtime.
Maintaining Eligibility for Employer Contribution The employer's contribution continues as long as the employee remains on the payroll in an insurance eligible position. Employees who complete their regular school year assignment shall receive coverage through August 31.
Student Employment (a) Students who are employed to backfill in a bargaining unit position shall be paid the bargaining unit rate and if so employed for more than ten (10) weeks will be a member of the bargaining unit.
