Region Staff Work Location. Due to the complexity of creating schedules in branches at a time of post-pandemic planning, lower patron activity in branches, and operationalizing business and staffing analyses, the parties agree that the provisions of Article 8, Sections 8.7 and 8.8 will be held in abeyance until such time as the parties agree to reopen this section for future bargaining. The Scheduling Committee will be tasked with advising on building a scheduling framework until such time as Sections 8.7 and 8.8 are fully bargained. The parties agree to add an HR representative(s) to the Scheduling Committee while these sections are held in abeyance. Prior to the next major schedule change, parties will meet to determine whether to continue having this provision in abeyance or bargain the necessary change. Region Staff may work on a regular basis in more than one community library within a Region. Region staff will not be assigned to more than two locations unless mutually agreed. For communication and supervisory purposes, each staff member is assigned a base community library. Each staff member has an established work schedule.
