REIMBURSEMENT FOR STATE REGISTRATION/ CERTIFICATION. Any employee in this Unit who is required to maintain a State of California Professional Registration as a condition of employment, shall be reimbursed by the City for the cost of such registration upon presentation by the employee of a paid receipt for such cost. Any Department of Building and Safety employee in this Unit who is required to maintain certification as a Building Official, Plan Reviewer, or Building Inspector by the State of California as a condition of employment shall be reimbursed by the City for the cost of that certification upon presentation of a paid receipt from a Department- approved certifying organization.
