Common use of Reinstatement of Rights Clause in Contracts

Reinstatement of Rights. Under a law relating to insolvency a person may claim that a transaction (including a payment) in connection with this facility agreement is void or voidable. If a claim is made and upheld, conceded or compromised, then: a. we are immediately entitled, as against you, to the rights in respect of the total amount owing to which we were entitled immediately before the transaction; and b. on request from us, you agree to do anything to restore to us any security we held from you immediately before the transaction.
