REJECTION OF PROBATIONER FOLLOWING PROMOTION. Any employee rejected during the probationary period following appointment to a higher classification shall be reinstated to the position from which he/she was appointed unless charges are filed and he/she is discharged in the manner provided in Article XIII of the City Charter and the Personnel Rules. Rejection during probation is not subject to the grievance procedure included within this Memorandum of Understanding.‌
