Common use of Rejection of Tenders Clause in Contracts

Rejection of Tenders. a) A tender may be rejected if the unit rates or prices for some of the items in the Schedule of Quantities are in the opinion of the Employer unreasonable or out of proportion, and the Tenderer fails, within a period of fourteen days after having been notified in writing by the Employer to adjust the unit rates or prices of such items, to make such adjustments.
