Common use of Release from Contract Clause in Contracts

Release from Contract. After July 15 no employee will be released from his/her employment contract for reasons other than illness or emergency until the district can find a replacement. The District will take immediate steps to find the replacement by posting the position within twenty-four (24) hours (not including weekends, holidays, or office closure periods). A physician’s certificate attesting to the illness may be requested at the expense of the employer.
