Release of Alcohol Testing Information. The Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) shall inform the employee before testing that the Employer will be notified if the confirmato- ry test is greater than 0.02, since the employee will be removed from service and considered medically unqualified to drive under DOT agency rules and regulations. When a grievance is filed as a result of a positive test the Employer shall obtain records relating to the alcohol test. Upon receiving the records, the Employer shall provide copies to the appropriate offi- cial of the Union, by the end of the following business day after receiving the documents from the laboratory or the MRO, as appli- cable, provided that the employee has executed written consent authorizing release to the Union, a copy of which must be provided to the Employer.
