Release Time for Officers. 10.11.1 The Governors have an interest in maintaining the Association’s ability to adequately represent academic staff members in matters affecting the mutual interest of the Governors and the academic staff. To this end, the Governors acknowledge the right of the Association to secure release time for academic staff members in order to further the work of the Association in accordance with this Article 10.9. 10.11.2 The Association may determine which of its officers shall be released from regular academic duties, and for what period of time.
