RELIEVING RATES OF PAY/TEMPORARY. ASSIGNMENTS/SHIFT PREMIUMS 11.01 Any employee assigned to relieve another employee who works in a higher paid classification shall receive the higher rate of pay of said classification for all time so employed in excess of one (1) hour. 11.02 Any employee assigned to relieve an employee who works in a lower paid classification shall not have their wages reduced during said relieving. 11.03 Any employee assigned to relieve a person outside the scope this agreement shall receive a minimum of one dollar and fifty ($1.50) cents per hour in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay for all time so employed in excess of one hour. The foregoing premium will apply to situations where an employee is requested to relieve a contracted instructor for a scheduled group fitness class (even if the class is scheduled for less than one hour) and the employee instructs the same group fitness class that the contractor was engaged to instruct. The foregoing premium will not apply if an employee is requested to relieve a contracted instructor for a scheduled group fitness class and the employee instructs a group fitness class that is different from the one the contractor had been engaged to instruct, even if it is at the same time and
