Removal from File Clause Samples
The 'Removal from File' clause establishes the right or procedure for certain documents or materials to be taken out of an official file or record. In practice, this clause may specify who is authorized to remove items, under what circumstances removal is permitted, and what documentation or approvals are required for such actions. Its core function is to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of records by controlling and tracking the removal of sensitive or unnecessary information, thereby reducing the risk of unauthorized access or loss of important documents.
Removal from File. All written documents in an employee's file of a disciplinary nature shall be removed from the file after twelve (12) months.
