At least one hundred-twenty days (or thirty days if the appointment period is nine months or less) prior to the end of Resident’s current appointment period, the Department Chairman or Program Director will provide a written offer of reappointment detailing the terms and conditions of reappointment or a written notice to Resident that the appointment will not be renewed.
