Reporting and Verification of Sick Leave. 15.1.3.1 All absences shall be deducted in one (1) hour increments. Multiple absences of less than one (1) hour may be accumulated within each calendar month and deducted in (1) hour increments. 15.1.3.2 In the event a Unit Member will be absent from duty due to illness, the Unit Member must call the Immediate Management Supervisor’s office as soon as possible, but not later than the scheduled time the Unit Member would be required to report for duty.
