Repudiation of Appointment. An Employee shall be deemed to have repudiated his or her appointment and thereby terminated his or her rights under the Agreement if he or she accepts full-time employment outside the University without the Vice-President (Academic and Research)'s prior consent or if he or she is absent from his or her classes for two (2) or more consecutive weeks during the Teaching Year without leave or permission from the Vice-President (Academic and Research) except for reasonable cause. In such cases, procedures outlined in Article 13.02.5 shall apply.
