Request for Time Off. Full-time employees who have a specific request for time off in the evenings shall inform the Employer in writing of the specific evenings that they are requesting. Employees cannot request more than two (2) evenings per week. Subject to operational needs, requests will not be unreasonably denied. These requests for time off will not exempt employees from the requirements under Article 12.3 (f).
Request for Time Off a. Requests for Union leave shall be made to the Director, Inflight Services or her/his designee and a copy shall be sent to the Manager, Crew Scheduling. Such requests shall be signed by an officer of the LEC. Each request shall be transmitted to the Company by express delivery, hand delivery, or e-mail as far in advance of the requested leave as practicable and when possible, before the eighteenth (18th) day of the preceding month. The request will contain the names, dates and duration of the requested Union leave.
Request for Time Off. Employees must submit their request in writing. Requests may be submitted up to twelve (12) months in advance of the requested time off. Employees will receive verification of the status of their request(s) by referring to the approved posted schedule. PTO requests must be submitted at least 30 thirty days prior to the month the schedule is posted. For example: a request for March PTO must be submitted no later than January 15th.
Request for Time Off. Request for Scheduled Paid Time off must be made in accordance with department/unit guidelines.
Request for Time Off. (excluding Christmas, New Year=s, and the months of July and August) Schedules will be posted at least 1 week in advance of the date of the schedule and will cover a 1 month period. Master schedules are posted that repeat every 2 weeks or 3 weeks (housekeeping). Staff can determine from the master the dates they are working for any time period and therefore are expected to submit their request for time off (including vacation) at least 2 weeks before the next posting of a schedule. This is usually by the 15th of the previous month. (e.g. current schedule runs to May 30, by May 15 any requests for time off for June must be in to your supervisor).

Requests made by nurses for time off must be submitted electronically through the Hospital’s system to the appropriate Clinical Manager or her delegate at least one (1) week in advance of the commencement of the requested leave. This advance notice period may be waived in extenuating circumstances. Requests for time off will not be unreasonably withheld. The Hospital will consider these requests in accordance with Article Q(d); Short Notice Requests for Vacation. Request for time off on the posted work schedule shall be responded to within five (5) business days.
Request for Time Off. Trades union officials and members requesting time off in accordance with this Agreement shall do so in writing and shall give as much notice as possible with details of the purpose for the time off, the intended location and the timing and duration of the time off required. The duration of the time off may include time off on the preceding or following day to provide an adequate rest period where appropriate. In the case of requests for time off for training, a minimum of six weeks’ notice is required. The number of officials released for training at any one time may be limited for safety and/or operational requirements. No legitimate request for time off shall be reasonably refused and, where a refusal is considered necessary, the reason shall be given. In some cases requests for time off may be refused for safety and/or operational requirements or management may request a postponement or variation to the duration of the time off required where practicable. The response to request for time off shall be confirmed in writing by the appropriate manager. Where a trade’s union duty comprises a joint meeting between trades union officials and management, both sides shall agree a mutually convenient time, which minimises the effect on normal working.
