Common use of Requests for Release Time Clause in Contracts

Requests for Release Time. Requests for the use of release time shall be made to the Department Head, or the Department Head’s designee, on the standard Request for Leave Form provided by the Employer. Such form shall not be required for investigation and presentation of grievances. All written requests shall be made at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance. Such requests will not be unreasonably denied. An employee requesting such leave shall not be allowed to leave the worksite until such leave has been approved.
