Requirements Definition Process Sample Clauses

Requirements Definition Process. It is clear that the requirements so far gathered are at an initial stage, with varying levels of detail, missing rationale and significant overlap. The requirements base will be maintained as a living document, and to manage its evolution a Requirements Authority has been formed. The Requirements Authority (RA) consists of representatives from Themes 2 and 3 and the industrial partners INSIEL, Atego, B&O. The RA will have access to the requirements base which is in the process of being set up: this is implemented on a Trac25 issue-tracking server, which will provide a light-touch approach to managing the requirements. The process for developing the requirements will begin by: • Identifying missing rationale and validation methods for each requirement • Decompose high level requirements to lower level ones as appropriate • Prioritise requirements into “Must have”, “Nice to have”, “Out of scope for COMPASS” and “Rejected” Following this process, the RA will regularly review the requirements base, to address any changes requested and maintain status of requirements. 25 xxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx Id Stakeholder Requirement Detail/Rationale R-TOOL- 0001 Tool Developer Tools shall link the SysML formalism to the CML CML does not have a graphical representation; SysML has acceptance in industry R-TOOL- 0002 Tool Developer Tool components should be tightly integrated R-TOOL- 0003 Tool Developer Tools shall have an open interface Components could be re-used in other tool chains R-TOOL- 0004 Tool Developer Some tool components shall support refinement R-METH- 0001 Method Developer Time FTA shall cover statistic aspects (reliability ...)
