Residential Plan. The terms 14A-14F apply to The Participant unless the residential plan is cancelled. A. The University will provide The Participant with a triple-occupancy furnished room in a residence hall for the duration of The Program. In the event that The Participant’s travel logistics warrant additional lodging accommodations beyond The Program’s check-in and check-out dates, The Participant is fully responsible for securing any additional housing and meals. The Participant may sign up for extended on- campus housing to cover five additional days between the last day of The Program and the campus fall move-in date at an additional charge (hereinafter referred to as “Stay-through Housing”. Requests to add or cancel Stay-through Housing must be made by the deadline specified on the NSTP website. Any changes after the deadline will result in a late change fee. The provision of housing is subject to availability, and The University reserves the right to change housing assignment at any time without prior notice. The University does not promise or guarantee to The Participant an assignment to any specific roommate, any particular room, facility, or amenities including, but not limited to, climate control and laundry in close proximity. The terms and conditions set forth herein apply to all room types occupied by one, two, or three residents. The University shall furnish three meals per day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dinner will be the first meal served on the first day of this Agreement. Breakfast will be the last meal served on the last day of this Agreement. B. The University will make a reasonable effort to assist Participants with dietary restrictions and understanding their food options. However, The Participant must acknowledge that there are certain risks of cross-contamination in using the facilities on campus and that The University cannot assume responsibility for strict adherence to the specific dietary needs of The Participant. Any Participant who wishes to request special meal options must contact NSTP at (▇▇▇) ▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ or email through the MyUCLA Message Center (with UCLA login or without UCLA login) upon registration. Such a request does not guarantee that accommodations can be made. C. The Participant shall not sublease the room or use it in any other manner than as a personal residence.   • Meal Plan 18. Residents are required to purchase a meal plan for both semesters. Refer to ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇/▇▇▇▇ for details on meal plan rates. Residents may contract for a meal plan of a higher value than stipulated in the fee schedule. 19. The meal plan may only be used to purchase food and beverages at Food Service outlets designated by the University. Meal plans cannot be used to purchase alcohol or gift certificates from any of our Off Campus Partners or to pay any other fees owed to the University of Windsor. 20. Selling of unused meal plan money is not permitted. 21. The University accepts no liability for lost, misplaced or stolen student cards and reserves the right to confiscate without recourse, any student card which bears evidence of alterations. 22. Any unused balance remaining in the meal plan accounts of the Resident on the termination date of this Agreement, will be subject to the University of Windsor Meal Plan Carry-Forward Policy. 23. Residents may add money to their meal plan at the Food Services office, J01 in Vanier Hall or the UwinCard Office in the CAW Student Centre (lower level). 24. The meal plan account is HST exempt on most purchases made at Food Service outlets on campus, except on taxable items at the Bru in Alumni Hall or with our Off Campus Partners. This is a current meal plan tax policy and is subject to change in accordance with provincial or federal legislation. 25. Meal plan fees or hours of operation are subject to change as deemed necessary or when due to circumstances beyond Food Services' control. The University reserves the right to increase or otherwise change the prices of items available for purchase in its Food Service outlets. Residents will be given reasonable notice of changes to the plan and such changes will be made fairly and in due consultation with student representatives.

  • Annual Plan On or before November 1 of each calendar year during the Term, Manager shall prepare and submit to Owner for its approval a proposed annual plan for the promotion, operation, leasing, repair and maintenance of the Project for each calendar year (the "Proposed Annual Plan"). For purposes of this Agreement, a "Fiscal Year" shall mean a calendar year beginning on the first day of January and ending on the last day of December. The Annual Plan for the remaining portion of Fiscal Year 2003 is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. Both the Board and the Association encourage teachers to seek professional improvement. In order to assist teachers in extending and improving their skills the following plan will be implemented. B. All Teachers will be encouraged to earn a Masters degree or coursework toward additional certification that is in the field of education and within a teacher's discipline, or in an area that is beneficial to the school. C. The Board will pay teacher's expenses for undergraduate and/or graduate credits, specialty and additional endorsements under the following conditions. 1. In allocating budgeted funds priority will be given to the teachers in a “masters” program and those teachers who need to complete coursework for certification. 2. All courses must be approved, in advance, by the Superintendent. Courses for recertification purposes must be approved in advance by the certification committee and the superintendent. The teacher shall receive a written reply from the Superintendent within ten (10) days of application for course approval (See Appendix D). 3. Each teacher will be eligible for up to six (6) semester hours of credit or, if enrolled in a matriculated, organized program, 12 semester hours of credit for undergraduate will be paid if part of a graduate program or graduate courses per contract year. The Superintendent reserves the right to request intent to take courses prior to final budget preparation. Failure to communicate such intent at the time of the Superintendent’s request may jeopardize course reimbursement due to a lack of funding. 4. The administration will pay in advance the cost of the course. Presentation of evidence of satisfactory completion of the course (A grade of B or better) is the responsibility of the teacher. In the event the course is not completed or not completed satisfactorily, the teacher will refund the payment received in advance and in accordance with Appendix D – attached. 5. Teachers who resign shall not be eligible for reimbursement after the date of resignation Teachers who have been reimbursed for any course work toward securing a masters within the last two (2) years of employment shall be required to continue their service to RSU # 78 for an additional two (2) years (twenty-four months) or will be required to reimburse the district the cost associated with Masters courses taken prior to departing, Such reimbursement to the district shall be remitted via payroll deductions as arranged between the District and employee, unless the failure to continue employment is due to illness, disability, death, or reduction of position. 6. Reimbursement will only be for tuition and fees. It will not include reimbursement for mileage, books and other expenses unless the teacher is required to take the course by the administration.

  • Improvement Plan A detailed, written plan initiated by the evaluator. The teacher may provide input at the meeting to review the plan. Improvement plans are utilized when a teacher receives an Evaluation Rating of Ineffective or when an administrator utilizes discretion to place any teacher on an improvement plan at any time based on any individual deficiency in the evaluation system. The approved form for the Improvement Plan is attached to this agreement as Appendix A-9.

  • Extended Health Plan An employee who makes an election under this provision must enrol in each and every of the benefit plans and shall not be entitled to except any of them.
