Common use of Resignation from State Service Clause in Contracts

Resignation from State Service. A bargaining unit member may resign from the State by presenting the resignation in writing to the member's first (1st) level supervisor outside the bargaining unit. To resign in good standing the bargaining unit member must give the supervisor at least ten (10) working days notice. After such resignation has been presented it may be withdrawn only by written mutual agreement of the parties.
