Resignations and Cancellation of Contracts. 1. Written Notice of Resignation A teacher who does not desire to continue in a position with the district shall submit a written resignation indicating the effective date. The Board will accept resignations for the succeeding school year without restriction if tendered on or before the date established by Kansas law. Except where otherwise provided by law, the Board may refuse to accept such resignations tendered after the date established by Kansas law.
