Common use of Responsibility for the Facilities Clause in Contracts

Responsibility for the Facilities. Without prejudice to the Contractor’s other obligations under the Contract and at law, the Contractor shall be responsible for the Facilities from the Effective Date until the date of issue of the Completion Certificate in respect of the whole of the Facilities. In the event of any loss or damage to the Facilities during such period, the Contractor shall, if instructed by the Corporation, reconstruct, repair or replace the same at its own expense and in accordance with the provisions of this Contract.
