Common use of Retention Indexing/Ratings Clause in Contracts

Retention Indexing/Ratings. Each employee will be assigned by the 1 Company a comparative rating as follows, giving consideration to each employee’s 2 competence, diligence, and demonstrated usable capabilities based upon the employee’s 3 current performance and a review of the employee’s previous performance. 4 The individual rating will be referred to as a “retention rating,” and the process of applying 6 these ratings and compiling them in order of rating, as retention indexing. 7 Retention ratings assigned to employees prior to the execution date of this Agreement 9 will remain in effect until changed under provisions of this Article. 10
