Common use of Retention of Attendance Records Clause in Contracts

Retention of Attendance Records. The School will retain the records documenting students’ attendance, absences, and tardiness as required by applicable laws. These documents may include, but not limited to, teachers’ daily attendance records, the absentee record, documentation of any changes to the absentee record, absentee slips, and any electronic absentee records. These records should be retained in accordance with the retention schedule published by Florida Department of State, Division of Library and Information Services, “General Records Schedule GS7 For Public Schools, Pre-K-12 and Adult And Career Education”.
