Common use of Retirement Insurance Participation Clause in Contracts

Retirement Insurance Participation. An employee who retires from employment shall be eligible to continue in the group health insurance plan with the same coverage as active employees, until the employee qualifies for Medicare, provided the employees are accepted by the insurance carrier as provided by Minnesota statute. The employee shall pay the entire premium cost of continued participation as outlined above and shall pay to the school district the monthly premium in advance.
