Common use of Return from a Long-Term Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Return from a Long-Term Leave of Absence. An employee who has been cleared to return to work and has passed the DOT physical after a leave of absence of more than sixteen (16) weeks will be returned to the same position, rate of pay, and location he/she held prior to commencement of the leave, but not the same bus route. The employee may be long-term assigned at any terminal until a route opens.
