Review of Work, Inspection and Tests. Conduct on-site inspections for the OWNER of the work in progress as a basis for determining that the project is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents. Provide on-site acceptance testing of materials in general accordance with manner and extent prescribed in the latest edition of the Indiana Department of Transportation Construction Manual and in accordance with current accepted practices. Review and evaluate testing, by an independent testing agency Accompany visiting inspectors, representing Local, State or Federal Agencies having jurisdiction over the project, and report details of such inspection to the OWNER. Verify that required testing has been accomplished. Inspect mock-ups of fabricated components for the OWNER to verify compliance with the Contract Documents and acceptability to the OWNER. Conduct inspections of the work in progress at off-site fabrication facilities if directed by the OWNER and as necessary to verify that work on project components complies with and is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents.

  • Inspection and Testing Each Constructing Entity shall cause inspection and testing of the Interconnection Facilities that it constructs in accordance with the provisions of this section. The Construction Parties acknowledge and agree that inspection and testing of facilities may be undertaken as facilities are completed and need not await completion of all of the facilities that a Constructing Entity is building.
