The employer may deduct payment for any day or part thereof upon which an employee cannot be usefully employed due to any of the following circumstances: • Industrial action or participation in any industrial action • A stoppage of work (other than for inclement weather within the allowance prescribed by this agreement) for any cause, including break-down of machinery or failure or lack of power, for which cause the employer is not reasonably responsible.
