Right to Engage Assistants. Contractor shall have the right to engage others to assist in the accomplishment of the Project. Contractor shall be solely responsible for paying all compensation owed to any assistants engaged and for paying, and/or withholding and remitting to the appropriate government agency, any applicable employment taxes that might be owed with respect to this compensation. Contractor also shall indemnify and hold Yurok Tribe harmless against any and all liabilities attributable to the obligations imposed on Contractor under this Paragraph 11. The Parties acknowledge that Contractor shall retain the exclusive right to determine which workers Contractor shall engage for these purposes. Contractor agrees to provide proof of Workers’ Compensation insurance coverage for all assistants he engages.

Right to Engage Assistants. Subject to specific golf course requirements in Section 6 of this Agreement, Independent Contractor shall have the right to engage others to assist in the performance of the services. Independent Contractor shall be solely responsible for paying all compensation owed to any assistants he or she engages and for paying, and/or withholding and remitting to the appropriate government agency, any applicable employment taxes that might be owed with respect to this compensation. Independent Contractor also shall indemnify and hold MC harmless against any and all liabilities attributable to the obligations imposed on Independent Contractor under this Section. The Parties acknowledge that Independent Contractor shall retain the exclusive right to determine which workers Independent Contractor shall engage for these purposes.

  • EDUCATION ASSISTANTS 1. All Education Assistants employed by the Board to assist teachers in carrying out their responsibilities and duties under the School Act and Regulations shall be assigned to classes and/or students by the Principal and shall be assigned specific duties by the teacher during the designated periods of time.

  • Educational Assistants Teachers are responsible to assign instructional duties to Educational Assistants who are allocated to students in their classroom by the Principal.

  • Roadside Assistance If you purchase the optional Roadside Assistance, we will provide you with 24/7 breakdown assistance (where available) without additional charge. Roadside Assistance includes replacement of lost keys or key fobs, flat tire service, jumpstart, and key lockout services. When deciding whether to purchase Roadside Assistance, you may wish to check whether you have you have other coverage for the services. Roadside Assistance is not insurance. Roadside Assistance is void if you are in breach of this Agreement, including the prohibited uses in paragraph 5.

  • Training Assistance (a) Employees shall be reimbursed for one hundred percent (100%) of the tuition for job-related courses approved by the Employer.

  • Directory Assistance Service shall provide up to two listing requests per call, if available and if requested by Freedom's End User. BellSouth shall provide caller- optional directory assistance call completion service at rates set forth in BellSouth's General Subscriber Services Tariff to one of the provided listings.

  • Psychotherapist-Patient Privilege The information disclosed by Patient, as well as any records created, is subject to the psychotherapist-patient privilege. The psychotherapist-patient privilege results from the special relationship between Therapist and Patient in the eyes of the law. It is akin to the attorney-client privilege or the doctor-patient privilege. Typi- cally, the patient is the holder of the psychotherapist-patient privilege. If Therapist received a subpoena for records, deposition testimony, or testimony in a court of law, Therapist will assert the psychotherapist-patient privilege on Patient’s behalf until instructed, in writing, to do otherwise by Patient or Patient’s representative. Patient should be aware that he/she might be waiving the psychotherapist-patient privilege if he/she makes his/her mental or emotional state an issue in a legal proceeding. Patient should address any concerns he/she might have regarding the psychotherapist-patient privilege with his/her attorney. Fee and Fee Arrangements The usual and customary fee for service is $100.00 per 50-minute session. Sessions longer than 50-minutes are charged for the additional time pro rata. Therapist reserve the right to periodically adjust this fee. Patient will be notified of any fee adjustment in advance. In addition, this fee may be adjusted by contract with in- surance companies, managed care organizations, or other third-party payers, or by agreement with Therapist. From time-to-time, Therapist may engage in telephone contact with Patient for purposes other than sched- uling sessions. Patient is responsible for payment of the agreed upon fee (on a pro rata basis) for any tele- phone calls longer than ten minutes. In addition, from time-to-time, Therapist may engage in telephone con- tact with third parties at Patient’s request and with Patient’s advance written authorization. Patient is respon- sible for payment of the agreed upon fee (on a pro rata basis) for any telephone calls longer than ten minutes. Patients are expected to pay for services at the time services are rendered. Therapist accepts cash, or major credit cards.

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • HELP FOR PERSONS AFFECTED BY ALCOHOL AND/OR OTHER DRUGS The OH&S Committee and management will provide information and assistance to persons seeking help for alcohol/drug problems or related problems, confidentially and without prejudice. • Sick leave or leave without pay may be negotiated to enable participation in rehabilitation or counselling. • No-one will be disadvantaged in the workplace as a result of undertaking a rehabilitation program.
