Rights, Duties and Responsibilities. 17.A.2.1 Academic librarians shall have the right to express opinions and to participate by means of their representatives in procedures as provided for in the appropriate Article concerning such matters as: the appointment and promotion of academic librarians; and the granting of merit awards.
