  • EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION BY CONTRACTOR PROHIBITED During the performance of this Contract, the Contractor agrees as follows:

  • EMPLOYMENT OF UNAUTHORIZED ALIENS PROHIBITED In accordance with §2.2-4311.1 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, the Contractor must not during the performance of this Contract knowingly employ an unauthorized alien, as that term is defined in the federal Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually.   • Contractor Designation of Trade Secrets or Otherwise Confidential Information If the Contractor considers any portion of materials to be trade secret under section 688.002 or 812.081, F.S., or otherwise confidential under Florida or federal law, the Contractor must clearly designate that portion of the materials as trade secret or otherwise confidential when submitted to the Department. The Contractor will be responsible for responding to and resolving all claims for access to Contract-related materials it has designated trade secret or otherwise confidential.

  • Privacy Act Notice Section 6109 of the Internal Revenue Code requires you to provide your correct TIN to persons (including federal agencies) who are required to file information returns with the IRS to report interest, dividends, or certain other income paid to you; mortgage interest you paid; the acquisition or abandonment of secured property; the cancellation of debt; or contributions you made to an XXX, Xxxxxx MSA, or HSA. The person collecting this form uses the information on the form to file information returns with the IRS, reporting the above information. Routine uses of this information include giving it to the Department of Justice for civil and criminal litigation and to cities, states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. commonwealths and possessions for use in administering their laws. The information also may be disclosed to other countries under a treaty, to federal and state agencies to enforce civil and criminal laws, or to federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies to combat terrorism. You must provide your TIN whether or not you are required to file a tax return.   • Confidentiality of Health Information (a) A Nurse shall not be required to provide her or his manager/supervisor specific information regarding the nature of her or his illness or injury during a period of absence. However, the Employer may require the Nurse to provide such information to persons responsible for occupational health.

  • Termination by Licensee 10.1 Licensee will have the right at any time to terminate this Agreement in whole or as to any portion of Patent Rights by giving notice in writing to The Regents. Such Notice of Termination will be subject to Article 18. (Notices) and termination of this Agreement will be effective sixty (60) days after the effective date thereof.

  • Termination by Licensor Licensor, at its option, may immediately terminate the Agreement, or any part of Patent Rights, or any part of Field, or any part of Territory, or the exclusive nature of the license grant, upon delivery of written notice to Licensee of Licensor’s decision to terminate, if any of the following occur:

  • Anti-Discrimination Clause The contractor agrees: (a) to comply with the Kansas Act Against Discrimination (K.S.A. 44-1001 et seq.) and the Kansas Age Discrimination in Employment Act (K.S.A. 44-1111 et seq.) and the applicable provisions of the Americans With Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq.) (ADA) and to not discriminate against any person because of race, religion, color, sex, disability, national origin or ancestry, or age in the admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs or activities; (b) to include in all solicitations or advertisements for employees, the phrase "equal opportunity employer"; (c) to comply with the reporting requirements set out at K.S.A. 44-1031 and K.S.A. 44-1116; (d) to include those provisions in every subcontract or purchase order so that they are binding upon such subcontractor or vendor; (e) that a failure to comply with the reporting requirements of (c) above or if the contractor is found guilty of any violation of such acts by the Kansas Human Rights Commission, such violation shall constitute a breach of contract and the contract may be cancelled, terminated or suspended, in whole or in part, by the contracting state agency or the Kansas Department of Administration; (f) if it is determined that the contractor has violated applicable provisions of ADA, such violation shall constitute a breach of contract and the contract may be cancelled, terminated or suspended, in whole or in part, by the contracting state agency or the Kansas Department of Administration. Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws. The provisions of this paragraph number 5 (with the exception of those provisions relating to the ADA) are not applicable to a contractor who employs fewer than four employees during the term of such contract or whose contracts with the contracting State agency cumulatively total $5,000 or less during the fiscal year of such agency.

  • Violation of Non-discrimination provisions Violation of the non-discrimination provisions of this Agreement shall be considered a breach of this Agreement and subject the Contractor to penalties, to be determined by the County Manager, including but not limited to i) termination of this Agreement;
