RIGHTS OF ASSOCIATION-DEDUCTIONS. SECTION 1 There shall be no discrimination, interference, restraint or coercion by the School Committee, the Education Association or their respective agents against any teacher because of membership or non-membership in the Association. The services of the Fitchburg Education Association in the capacity of bargaining agent will be available to all professional employees in the unit covered by this Agreement who are eligible for membership in the Association. Although membership in the Association is encouraged, no professional employee shall be required to join the Fitchburg Education Association.
