Rights of Survivorship. If your account is a joint account, the account is owned as a joint account with rights of survivorship. Upon the death of one of the joint account owners, that person’s interest will become the property of the surviving joint account owners.
Rights of Survivorship. Unless otherwise stated on the Account Card, a joint account includes rights of survivorship. This means that when one (1) owner dies, all sums in the account will pass to the surviving owner(s). For a joint account without rights of survivorship, the deceased owner's interest passes to his or her estate. A surviving owner's interest is subject to the Credit Union's statutory lien for the deceased owner's obligations, and to any security interest or pledge granted by a deceased owner, even if a surviving owner did not consent to it.
Rights of Survivorship. Unless otherwise stated on the Account Card or documented through the Credit Union’s online application and authentication process, a joint account includes rights of survivorship. This means that when one (1) owner dies, all sums in the account will pass to the surviving owner(s). For a joint account without rights of survivorship, the deceased owner’s interest passes to his or her estate. A surviving owner’s interest is subject to the Credit Union’s statutory lien for the deceased owner’s obligations and to any security interest or pledge granted by a deceased owner, even if a surviving owner did not consent to it.
Rights of Survivorship. Unless your account card specifically indicates otherwise, you agree that it's your intention to create a joint tenancy with the right of survivorship (a form of ownership) in any multiple party account and if one or more of the multiple party owners dies, his or her interest in the account passes to the remaining owners; unless subject to our right of set-off or a pledge of the funds in the account(s), in which case all sums in the account(s) will belong to us regardless of contributions, up to the amount of the obligation(s) owed. We may not release any funds to a survivor until all required legal documents are delivered to us.
Rights of Survivorship. If your account is a multiple party account, the account is owned as a joint account with rights of survivorship unless otherwise stated on the account card. If the account is a multiple party account without right of survivorship, the interest of a deceased owner will pass to the decedent’s estate. If the account is a multiple party account with right of survivorship upon the death of one of the joint account owners, that person’s interest will become the property of the surviving joint account owners. A surviving owner’s interest is subject to the Credit Union’s statutory lien for the deceased owner’s obligations, and to any security interest or pledge granted by a deceased owner, even if a surviving owner did not consent to it.
Rights of Survivorship. When one owner of a multiple party account dies, all rights and available funds in the account fall to the remaining account owner(s), unless otherwise authorized in the Membership Agreement. If a surviving owner does not exist, the last deceased owner’s interest will go to his or her estate. If a surviving owner does exist, his or her share of the account is subject to any financial obligations, security interest, or pledge authorized by the decedent, even if the surviving owner did not agree to it.
Rights of Survivorship. For a joint account, the existence or non-existence of rights of survivorship shall be established by designation on the Membership Application. If the Membership Application designation is “Joint account with survivorship,” then, on the death of an owner of the account, the deceased owner’s interest in the account passes to the surviving owner(s) of the account. If the designation is “Joint account - no survivorship,” then, on the death of an
Rights of Survivorship. For joint multiple party accounts with rights of survivorship, on the death of one party, all sums in the account on the date of the death vest in and belong to the surviving party(ies) as his or her separate property and estate. This means that when one owner dies, ownership of the account passes to the surviving owner(s). If there are two or more surviving owners, their respective ownerships during lifetime shall be in proportion to their previous net contributions to the account, increased for each survivor by an equal share of any interest the decedent may have owned in the account immediately before his or her death. The rights of survivorship in the account continue until only one owner survives. For a joint multiple party account without rights of survivorship, when one owner dies, the deceased owner’s interest in the account passes as part of the deceased owner’s estate under his or her will or by the applicable laws of intestacy. Payment of the account is subject to other provisions of this Agreement protecting the Credit Union for honoring transfer and withdrawal requests of an owner or by an owner’s agent prior to notice of an owner’s death, and to our statutory lien for the owner’s obligations, and to any security interest or pledge granted by the owner.
Rights of Survivorship. Unless otherwise stated on the Application, a multiple party account includes rights of survivorship. This means when one owner dies, all sums in the account will pass to the surviving owner(s). Rights of Survivorship. A joint account includes rights of survivorship. This means when one owner dies, all sums in the account will pass to the surviving owner(s). In the event that the account is an individual account, or upon the death of the last joint account owner, the interest of the deceased owner will pass to the decedent’s estate unless a Payable on Death beneficiary (POD) has been properly designated or unless we are required to remit the interest of deceased owner to someone else by law. Unless otherwise stated on the Membership and Services Application, or unless otherwise required by law or the terms of this Agreement, a joint account owned by individuals is an account with rights of survivorship, and the interest of a deceased owner will pass to the surviving owner(s). A surviving owner’s interest on an account is subject to the Credit Union’s contractual and/or statutory lien for the deceased owner’s obligations, and to any security interest or pledge granted by a deceased owner, even if a surviving owner did not consent to it. The rights of a joint owner will always supersede the rights of any designated Payable on Death beneficiaries.
