Ring Signature Definitions. We now define a (1 out of n) ring signature scheme. We assume that each member I of the ring possesses a public and private key pair (PKI, SKI) from some digital signature scheme, and that each member is associated with their public key via some PKI or certifi- cate. This public key defines this member’s signature scheme and specifies his verification key. We denote the corresponding private key as SKI.
