Common use of Room/Houses Condition/Damage Clause in Contracts

Room/Houses Condition/Damage. A. The Resident agrees to accept responsibility for all property as- signed to his or her use and also agrees to pay for loss or repair costs for University provided furnishings. Storage space in the buildings is very limited and not available for residents. All fur- nishings must remain in the assigned apartment/room unless written permission is obtained from the Office of Residential Life, at the discretion of the Area Coordinator. No moveable furnishings allo- cable to the common areas may be brought into a Resident’s room.
