Safe Driver Plan. The parties seek to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ the safety of all students transported by the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Transportation Department. Accordingly, the Safe Driver Plan, as outlined in the School Bus Driver Handbook and School Board Policy 8600 is hereby incorporated, by reference, into the contract and made a part thereof. A safe driver plan committee shall be established to review, update, and modify the assessments of points and penalties associated with violations reflected on driver’s records. The committee shall make recommendations to the Superintendent of Schools and the President of the Union.
Safe Driver Plan. Revisions of the Safe Driver Plan shall be implemented only after consultation with the Association through the SPALC Labor/Management Committee and memorandums of understanding. The Safe Driver Plan shall not prohibit any employee from exercising any rights or privileges provided by law, rule or this Agreement.

  • Clean Air (A) The CONTRACTOR agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. §§ 7401 et seq. The CONTRACTOR agrees to report each violation to the COMMISSION and understands and agrees that the COMMISSION will, in turn, report each violation as required to assure notification to FTA and the appropriate EPA Regional Office. (B) The CONTRACTOR also agrees to include these requirements in each subcontract exceeding $100,000 financed in whole or in part with Federal assistance provided by FTA.

  • Safe Workplace A) The Employer and employees recognize the need for a safe and healthful workplace and agree to take appropriate measures in order that risks of accidents and/or occupational disease are reduced and/or eliminated. Employers will take all reasonable steps to eliminate, reduce and/or minimize threats to the safety of employees. B) An employee performing visitation to clients in the community shall have the right to request backup to attend where there is reasonable cause to expect a violent situation and will have access to appropriate communication equipment. C) When the Employer is aware that a patient/resident/client has a history of violent behaviour, the Employer shall make such information available to the employee. Upon admission or transfer the Employer will make every reasonable effort to identify the potential for aggressive behaviour. In- services and/or instruction in caring for the violent patient will be provided by the Employer. D) The Employer will provide orientation and/or in-service which is necessary for the safe performance of work including universal precautions, the safe use of equipment, safe techniques for lifting and supporting patients/residents/clients and the safe handling of materials and products. The Employer will also make readily available information, manuals and procedures for these purposes. The Employer will provide appropriate safety clothing and equipment.

  • Industrial Accident Leave shall continue during all absences due to a single injury, but not to exceed one (1) year of accumulated absence.

  • Improvement Plans A professional improvement plan is a clearly articulated assistance program for a teacher whose student growth measure dimension of the evaluation is below the expected level of student growth. For the purposes of this agreement, improvement plans shall be based on the individual student growth measure level, and not for overall subjects or classes taught.

  • Lesson Plans Each teacher shall develop lesson plans for the instruction of students enrolled in his/her classroom. The primary purpose of lesson plans is to assist the classroom teacher with instruction. It also provides the basis to ensure that the state/county curriculum is being presented.
