Safeguards During Transmission. HCPF shall be responsible for using appropriate safeguards to maintain and ensure the confidentiality, privacy and security of PHI transmitted to CDPHE pursuant to this MOU, in accordance with the standards and requirements of the Privacy Rule, until such PHI is received by CDPHE, and in accordance with any specifications set forth in Attachment A.
