SAFETY APPAREL. a. Boots - The City agrees to pay three-hundred dollars ($300.00) annually toward the purchase of steel-toed safety boots worn by Public Works Division. Employees will receive the boot pay upon hire. Employees receiving a protective safety footwear allowance are required to wear the proper protective footwear provided by this benefit while performing their respective work duties.
