Traditional Medicine Cooperation 1. The aims of Traditional Medicine cooperation will be: (a) to build on existing agreements or arrangements already in place for Traditional Medicine cooperation; and (b) to promote information exchanges on Traditional Medicine between the Parties. 2. In pursuit of the objectives in Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities, including, but not limited to: (a) encouraging dialogue on Traditional Medicine policies and promotion of respective Traditional Medicine; (b) raising awareness of active effects of Traditional Medicine; (c) encouraging exchange of experience in conservation and restoration of Traditional Medicine; (d) encouraging exchange of experience on management, research and development for Traditional Medicine; (e) encouraging cooperation in the Traditional Medicine education field, mainly through training programs and means of communication; (f) having a consultation mechanism between the Parties' Traditional Medicine authorities; (g) encouraging cooperation in Traditional Medicine therapeutic services and products manufacturing; and (h) encouraging cooperation in research in the fields of Traditional Medicine in order to contribute in efficacy and safety assessments of natural resources and products used in health care.
Health and Safety Representative Meetings 13.1 A health and safety representative will be allowed reasonable paid time during working hours to attend occupational health and safety matters, including meetings affecting employees they represent, providing that the Representative informs their manager.
Function of Joint Health and Safety Committee All incidents involving aggression or violence shall be brought to the attention of the Joint Health and Safety Committee. The Employer agrees that the Joint Health and Safety Committee shall concern itself with all matters relating to violence to staff.
Designated Prescription Drug Prescribers and Pharmacies We may limit your selection of a pharmacy to a single pharmacy location and/or a single prescribing provider or practice. Those members subject to this designation include, but are not limited to, members that have a history of: • being prescribed prescription drugs by multiple providers; • having prescriptions drugs filled at multiple pharmacies; • being prescribed certain long acting opioids and other controlled substances, either in combination or separately, that suggests a need for monitoring due to: o quantities dispensed; o daily dosage range; or o the duration of therapy exceeds reasonable and established thresholds. The Amount You Pay for Prescription Drugs Our formulary includes a tiered copayment structure, which means the amount you pay for a prescription drug will vary by tier. See the Summary of Pharmacy Benefits for your copayment structure, benefit limits and the amount you pay. When you buy covered prescription drugs and diabetic equipment and supplies from a retail network pharmacy, you will be responsible for the copayment and deductible (if any) at the time of purchase. You will be responsible for paying the lower of your copayment, the retail cost of the drug, or the pharmacy allowance. Specialty prescription drugs are generally obtained from a specialty pharmacy. If you buy a specialty prescription drug from a retail network pharmacy, you will be responsible for a significantly higher out of pocket expense than if you bought the specialty drug from a specialty pharmacy. The amount you pay for the following prescription drugs is not subject to the tiered copayment structure: • Contraceptive methods; • Over-the-counter (OTC) preventive drugs; • Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) and smoking cessation prescription drugs; • Infertility specialty prescription drugs; and • Covered diabetic equipment or supplies bought at a network pharmacy. See the Summary of Pharmacy Benefits for benefit limits and the amount you pay. This plan allows for medication synchronization in accordance with R.I. General Law
Required Procurement Procedures for Obtaining Goods and Services The Grantee shall provide maximum open competition when procuring goods and services related to the grant-assisted project in accordance with Section 287.057, Florida Statutes.
Additional Federally Required Orders/Directives Both parties shall comply with the following laws and directives, where applicable:
Joint Health and Safety Committee i) Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Hospital agrees to accept as a member of its Joint Health and Safety Committee, at least one (1) representative selected or appointed by the Association from amongst bargaining unit employees from each Hospital site. Hospitals will choose either to include a representative from the bargaining unit from each Hospital site, or to have a separate Joint Health and Safety Committee at each Hospital site, unless the parties agree otherwise.
Procurement of Goods and Services (a) If the HSP is subject to the procurement provisions of the BPSAA, the HSP will abide by all directives and guidelines issued by the Management Board of Cabinet that are applicable to the HSP pursuant to the BPSAA.
Medicaid Program Contractors Inspection of Records: Any contracts accessing payments for services through the Global Commitment to Health Waiver and Vermont Medicaid program must fulfill state and federal legal requirements to enable the Agency of Human Services (AHS), the United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Government Accounting Office (GAO) to: Evaluate through inspection or other means the quality, appropriateness, and timeliness of services performed; and Inspect and audit any financial records of such Contractor or subcontractor.
Local Safety Committee There shall be established in each department and/or principal place of employment (for example: institutions, hospitals, colleges, transportation department areas, Department of Natural Resources regions, etc.) a joint Safety Committee composed of Appointing Authority representatives selected by the Appointing Authority and employee representatives selected by the Union, one from each bargaining unit represented by the Union but at a minimum, a total of two (2) representatives. If more than one (1) exclusive representative exists in the department or principal place of employment, the Union will attempt to work out an arrangement with the other exclusive bargaining representative(s) to insure their input to the Committee. The chair of the Committee shall be appointed by the Appointing Authority. The Appointing Authority may consider having co-chairs, one management and one labor. The Safety Committee shall meet at least quarterly or as may be legally required and meetings shall be scheduled by the Safety Officer. Additional meetings may be called by the Safety Officer or by the Local Union or Appointing Authority as the need may arise. All Safety Committee meetings shall be held during normal day shift working hours on the Appointing Authority's premises and without loss of pay. The function of the Safety Committee will be to review reports of property damage and personal injury accidents and alleged hazardous working conditions, to provide support for a strong safety program, to review building security issues, and to review and recommend safety policies to the Appointing Authority. Normally, the Committee shall acknowledge in writing receipt of reports of alleged hazardous working conditions within thirty (30) calendar days of their submission. A copy of the Committee's recommendations, if any, to the Appointing Authority regarding the disposition of such reports shall also be provided to the individual who filed the report with the Committee. In addition, the Safety Committee will provide the filing party with a copy of the Appointing Authority's response and/or proposed actions, if any. At the request of the Local Union or Safety Committee, hazard assessments will be made available for review. Each Local Safety Committee in a facility with a laundry and/or a kitchen shall perform a routine heat survey to check temperature, humidity, and exhaust and fan systems in the laundries and kitchens. The Employer agrees to coordinate technical assistance to the Local Safety Committee upon request.
