Salaried Employee Leave. Exempt employees shall be provided "salaried employee leave" for authorized absences of less than a full day if they have no paid time available. No deduction shall be made from employees pay for absences of less than one day. Should Federal regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act be amended to not require payment for time off from work for less than a day, this Article may be reopened by the County provided notice is given to the Association for “meet and confer” negotiations.
