Salary Differentials. Classified Administrators whose normal assignment requires them to work until 7:00 PM or later for at least 75% of their work year will be entitled to one additional range on the salary schedule for the entire year.

Salary Differentials. Reasonable incentive differentials shall be maintained between each class in a series and reasonable relationships among related classes in different series.
Salary Differentials. Teachers already employed by the Hazleton Area School District on or before October 19, 1990, will retain a Seven Hundred Dollar ($700.00) special education differential and a Three Hundred Dollar ($300.00) remedial reading differential above that of a regular classroom teacher. Effective September 1, 1991, these differentials will be eliminated for any newly hired employee. It is clearly understood that those teachers already in the employ of the Hazleton Area School District on October 19, 1990, will retain the remedial reading and special education differential.

An assignment differential will be paid where determined applicable by the HCI representative responsible for paraprofessionals under the following conditions: ⮚ Technology Teaching Assistant $.50 per hour ⮚ ISS Teaching Assistants $5.00 per hour ⮚ Senior Associate, PMHP $2.00 per hour ⮚ Lead Intervention Paraprofessional $2.50 per hour ⮚ Pool Paraprofessional $2.75 per hour ⮚ Teaching Assistant – Bilingual 2017-2018 $0.50 per hour 2018-2019 2019-2020 2020-2021 ⮚ Paraprofessional – Bilingual $0.50 per hour ⮚ Teaching Assistant / Paraprofessional Blind/Visually Impaired $0.50 per hour ⮚ Lead Para Pre-K $3.50 per hour ⮚ Intervention Teaching Assistant $4.00 per hour ⮚ Special Education Paraprofessionals 1:1 Paraprofessionals ADA When in the above-listed assignments, paraprofessionals who are required by the nature of the assignment to lift, diaper, feed, toilet or provide other Types of hygiene care to students $2.75 per hour
Salary Differentials. (1) Differentials based upon the following conditions shall continue for those unit members holding such positions as of November l, 1978. Unit members appointed to such positions after November 1, 1978, shall not receive differentials.
Salary Differentials. An earned salary differential in addition to the regular rate of pay specified in Appendix B shall be paid to affected employees under the conditions and in the amounts specified in this Article.
a. Assignment to duties for which a salary differential is designated other than a temporary assignment of less than twenty (20) working days shall be made on the basis of seniority among those employees in the appropriate class who request such an assignment.
b. Long-term Salary Differentials as designated in this Article shall be based on the special requirements of a particular position or the authorized use of special skills by a particular incumbent and for which payment shall be continued during paid absences of the employee.
c. Short-term Salary Differentials as designated in this Article shall be for the performance of a specific task that is not assigned to a particular position or incumbent on a continuing basis and for which payment shall not be continued during paid absences of the employee.
2.1 Shift Differentials shall be granted as described in Article IX, Section 3.0, Hours and Overtime, and shall be considered long-term differentials. An employee regularly assigned to a work shift for which a salary differential is paid shall not lose such compensation if temporarily assigned, for twenty (20) working days or less, to a work shift not entitled to such compensation.
Salary Differentials. County salary differentials between the ranks of Sergeant and Lieutenant shall be maintained at no less than 12.5% differential.
Salary Differentials. The salary differential for Guidance Counselors and eligible psychologists shall be increased by the percentage increases in the salary schedules. The said differentials shall not be considered as compensation for days worked beyond the teacher work year as hereinabove defined. Psychologists hired after June 30, 1983 shall not receive a salary differential.
Salary Differentials. 1. The minimum rate of the salary range for Fire Battalion Chief shall be at least eighteen percent (18%) above top step of 40- hour Fire Captain EMT.
2. Any increase to the minimum rate of the salary range as a result of this provision will include a corresponding adjustment to the middle rate of the salary range and control rate so that the minimum rate is equal to 90% of the control rate.
3. To maintain the intent of this pay differential between Captains and Battalion Chiefs, any future employee-paid pension contributions made by Captains will be matched at the same time by all employees in PFMA so that those contributions are the same.
