Shift Differentials. 18.1 Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 1400 and 2159 hours shall receive a shift differential of seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of eighty cents (80¢) per hour. Effective January 1, 2005, for employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1) per hour. Overtime shall not be calculated on the shift differential nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.

Employees of mental health and correctional facilities shall be eligible for the second shift differential when their shift begins between 12:00 noon and 4:59 p.m.

Employees of mental health and correctional facilities shall be eligible for the second shift differential of thirty-five cents ($.35) per hour when their shift begins between 12:00 noon and 4:59 p.m. Registered nurses working at DHHS institutions (DDPC and RPC) shall receive a shift differential of two dollars ($2.00) per hour for all hours worked during the period from 2:00 p.m. to 9:59 p.m., and a shift differential of three dollars ($3.00) per hour for all hours worked during the period from 10:00 p.m. to 6:59 a.m. Licensed Practical Nurses at these facilities shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked during the period from 2:00 p.m. to 9:59 p.m. and one dollar and thirty-five cents ($1.35) per hour for all hours worked during the period from 10:00 p.m. to 6:59 a.m.

Shift Differentials. Employees assigned to work any shift other than their normal day shift (start time between 0500 and 1159) shall receive the following shift differential pay: From 1200 through 2159 3% base pay From 2200 through 0459 6% base pay
Shift Differentials. For work on an 8-hour afternoon shift (1600 - 2400 hours) - 70¢ per hour worked • For work on an 8-hour night shift (0000 - 0800 hours) - 95¢ per hour worked • For work on a 12-hour night shift only - $1.10 per hour worked.
Shift Differentials. A shift differential of thirty cents ($.30) per hour shall be paid for shifts starting between 12:00 noon and 6:59 p.m. for full time employees regularly assigned to such shifts. A shift differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour shall be paid for shifts starting between 7:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. for full time employees regularly assigned to such shifts. A shift differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour shall be paid for weekend shifts for full-time employees regularly assigned to such shifts. The differential provided herein shall be part of base pay for overtime pay and other purposes.
Shift Differentials. A. Full-time Unit 6 employees whose regularly workday is on the second or third shift as hereinafter defined will receive a shift differential of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour.
B. For the purpose of this Section only, a second shift shall be one that commences at 1:00 p.m. or after and ends not later than 2:00 a.m. and a third shift shall be one that commences at 9:00 p.m. or after and ends not later than 9:00 a.m.
C. The overtime rate for employees whose regularly scheduled workday is on the second or third shift shall be computed based on the following method: the regular hourly salary rate plus the hourly shift differential times one and one-half equals the overtime rate.
D. For the purposes of this Section, employees who are regularly scheduled to work second or third shift shall receive the shift differential for all shifts that are on paid leave status, including holidays.
