Common use of Salary upon Re-Employment Clause in Contracts

Salary upon Re-Employment. A former employee, off probation at the time of separation, who is re-employed in the court after the standard hiring process set forth in this manual to the same class or a lower class in the same series, within one year, may upon approval of the Court Executive Officer, be appointed at some step higher than the recruiting step not to exceed one step five percent (5%) higher than the step the employee occupied at the time of separation.
