Common use of Saving Clause Clause in Contracts

Saving Clause. If any provision of this Agreement becomes invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, the validity of the remainder of this Agreement shall not be affected thereby; and the Parties shall agree to a valid substitute provision which corresponds in its economic effect as closely as legally possible to the invalid or unenforceable provision which it replaces.
