Calendar Committee. The calendar committee is charged with the task of collaborating with site base teams in developing the academic calendar. The committee should complete its recommendations by consensus and report these to the Board no later than January 31.
Calendar Committee. A Calendar Committee shall be appointed by the Superintendent to make non-binding recommendations, no later than March of each calendar year, to the Board. The committee shall include the President of the Association, or a bargaining unit designee, and one (1) additional member of the Association. It is understood that said committee shall include appointees of the Superintendent and may also include bargaining unit members from each designated exclusive employee representative which negotiates with the Board in accordance with §§6-408 and/or 6-510 of the Education Article to the Annotated Code of Maryland.
Calendar Committee. During the fall semester each year the District shall establish a Calendar Committee. ECCE shall be entitled to appoint two voting members as its representatives on the committee.
Calendar Committee. The District agrees to establish a joint calendar committee composed of an equal number of district representatives, association representatives and other stakeholder representatives appointed by their respective groups. The size of this Committee shall be determined by mutual agreement of all Parties. The purpose of this Committee shall be to develop a multi-year instructional master calendar which includes traditional and single-track year-round schedules, non-paid holidays and other non-paid days. This Committee shall present the calendar to the Board of Education one (1) year prior to its implementation.
Calendar Committee. There shall be a Calendar Committee which shall be a standing committee composed of eight members whose function it will be to establish and consider revisions of the academic calendar or calendars.
a. The committee shall be composed of two persons appointed by the President of the University, two persons appointed by the President of the St. John’s Chapter of the American Association of University Professors, two persons appointed by the President of the Faculty Association at St. John’s University, and two persons appointed by and from the respective student governments. The chairperson of the committee shall be elected by and from the membership of the committee. The committee shall report to the President of the University with its calendar recommendations.
b. Should the President, for compelling reasons, reject any of the recommendations submitted to him, he shall so notify the committee in writing, stating his reasons therefor. The committee shall reconsider its recommendations in light of the President’s reasons and shall present its revised recommendations, if any, to the President within two weeks of its receipt of the President’s objection. Any reasonable decision by the President shall be determining.
Calendar Committee. Each year the Superintendent of Schools shall authorize a school calendar committee for the purpose of formulating school calendar and preparing advisory recommendations.
A. The Superintendent and the Union President shall select the committee.
B. The Committee shall make recommendations on the school calendar to the Superintendent.

Calendar Committee. The District will work with the Federation, through a consensus model of shared decision-making on the calendar beginning in September of each year, through the Calendar Committee. The Calendar Committee consists of one Federation representative from each an elementary, junior high, and high school, as well as two representatives from CSEA, one from Confidential, one from PLA, one small feeder district representative, and a representative from the District Office appointed by the Superintendent. If consensus is not reached by February 1st the District will change to a consultation shared decision-making model and will publish the calendar as a business necessity.
Calendar Committee. A committee formed by the Association will be given the opportunity for input and recommendation to the superintendent of schools. The board retains the right to establish and adopt the calendar for the succeeding school year and to schedule the time for input and recommendations by the Association.
