Common use of SBE Clause in Contracts

SBE. Regular Dealer - Count 60 percent of the costs of materials and supplies obtained from an SBE regular dealer that owns, operates or maintains a store or warehouse in which the materials and supplies are regularly bought, kept in stock and sold or leased to the public in the usual course of business (except regular dealers of bulk items such as petroleum, cement and gravel who own and operate distribution equipment in lieu of maintaining a place of business). This applies whether an SBE is a prime contractor or subcontractor.
