Scheduling Of Overloads. 1. Overloads and summer positions shall be assigned with first priority to full-time qualified department/program members requesting them. 2. Overload assignments are voluntary. Full-time faculty on a fifteen (15) credit hour per semester schedule shall be permitted to teach up to nine (9) credit hours/overload per semester. Full-time faculty on an eighteen (18) contact hour per semester schedule shall be permitted to teach up to twelve (12) contact hours/overload per semester. Weekend courses are excluded from the aforementioned limitation. Mini- session courses, on-line courses and any other credit courses are included in the aforementioned course limitation. 3. Health and Exercise Science faculty may be assigned up to six (6) contact hours of overload per semester.
