School-Based Management. a) The parties are committed to a program of long term workplace reform which enhances educational outcomes for students. A progressive path towards school-based management, within an established vision and guiding principles, is a central component of the Department's long term workplace reform agenda. School-based management is a significant workplace reform initiative which has the potential to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of school operations in the medium to long term.
